On a bright and beautiful morning, the Villa Licci community laced up their sneakers, pinned on their race bibs, and hit the trail for a cause that hits close to home—raising awareness and support for individuals living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
Our first-ever “Miles for Minds” Fun Run brought together residents, families, friends, and supporters for a high-energy day of movement, music, and meaningful impact.
More than just a jog through the neighborhood, this event was a powerful statement: we see you, we support you, and we’re running beside you. Each mile logged helped raise both awareness and funds to support programs, services, and housing for individuals with TBI here at Villa Licci.
1K Walk/Run and 5K Challenge options for all ages and abilities
Cheer zones with music, signs, and encouragement from volunteers
Custom “Miles for Minds” race shirts and medals for all participants
A post-run celebration with food trucks, lawn games, and live music
Tribute Mile featuring signs honoring TBI survivors and their stories
I ran today for my brother who lives with TBI. Seeing this community come together like this means the world.

Every Step Counted
With every footstep, participants helped break down stigma and uplift those whose journeys often go unseen. From seasoned runners to casual walkers, the energy was electric—and the purpose was clear.
A Huge Thank You
To our incredible volunteers, sponsors, staff, and donors: thank you for making this event possible. Your generosity fuels everything we do—from housing and support to advocacy and celebration.
Looking Forward
We’re already planning next year’s run, and we hope to make it bigger, bolder, and even more impactful. Because at Villa Licci, we believe in moving forward—together.
